She was awarded a fellowship from the Guildhall School of Music for the year 2007/8, where she studied under the Senior Professor Joan Havill and was awarded a major educational award from the Musicians' Benevolent Fund to continue her postgraduate studies at the school.  She previously studied at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester with the Polish pianist Alicja Fiderkiewicz.  She has also recently been awarded a scholarship from the Dartington International Summer Festival where she took masterclasses with Stephen Bishop-Kovacevich.  In November 2011, Samantha recorded both solo and duet albums (with Maciej Raginia) for Schott Music Publishers.

'Your playing generates excitement. This is a player with valuable gifts. (James Lisney, Pianist, 2006)

'This was one of the best Schumann cadenzas I have ever heard.' (Alessio Bax, Pianist, 2008)

'this pianist gave a stunning performance full of clarity and emotion.  This was a performance with impact, presence and excitement.' (Knighton Chamber Orchestra, Leicester, 2009)

'The main work was the set of Beethoven Bagatelles op 126.  These works are extremely demanding technically and even more demanding psychologically but she has made them hers and it was a magnificent rendition.'  (Jeffrey Carson, Paros Life Magazine, Greece 2010)
