A Balkan inspired brass band that plays wild, rhythmically driving music from the Balkan region and Turkey.

Born out of London's cosmopolitan music scene it combines the cream of the UK with the best immigrant musicians.  The three wonderful trumpeters are familiar in the jazz and Latin circuits; one recently toured with Hermeto Pascoal while another played comedy trumpet for BBC3’s The Mighty Boosh!
The accordion player had performed with ensembles all over eastern and western Europe. The classically-trained tuba player has his own 8-pievce jazz orchestra and plays anything from sacred choral music to electronica The darbuka expert plays for some of Britain’s best known belly-dancers, whilst encompassing jazz, Latin and Indian styles. Finally the virtuosic tapan player collaborates with Ethiopian reggae groups and Romanian flautists alike, equally at home with “world”, jazz or pop repertoires.
