A vibrant and virtuosic quintet playing traditional tango from the Golden Era, explosive music from the famous and infamous Astor Piazzola and a selection of dynamic and funky tangoes from the UK written especially for them.

This is a traditional quintet, stronly rooted in classical discipline, which brings together the experience and passion of some of London's top professional musicians, with the special sound of the bandoneon, the heart-rending voice of the tango.

Now recognised as being at the cutting edge of the UK tango scene, the quartet has recently collaborated with Andrew Lloyd-Webber over his re-thinking of the 1970s musical, 'Evita'.
