Playing a repertoire of original songs, this is a band whose gutsy and extremely catchy hybrid of styles might be described as ‘earthy goodtime roots’ or ‘swing-ska boogaloo’. The music this band plays makes it virtually impossible to stay in your seat!

It is difficult to find a single word or phrase that wholly defines their unique mixture of vintage musical forms and contemporary styling, but since their formation in 2001, this Bristol- based band have established themselves as one of the foremost live acts in the burgeoning British retro scene.

Having performed around 500 gigs at venues, festivals and private parties across Europe, this troupe of sharply dressed, handsome, and passionately talented musicians have made many a weary, jived out happy punter go to bed with their searing melodies as the soundtrack to their dreams.

Such is the authenticity of their take on almost any genre, be it swing, jump jive, tango, gypsy klezmer, R & B, ska, blues and even dub, funk and psychedelia, that wherever they play , the audience ‘becomes a sea of beaming revelers bursting at the seams’ (Venue Magazine 2004).
