Celtic and Folk Crossover Ref: CF1103

Available as a soloist, or accompanied by her talented band, this unique female vocalist has become one of the hottest stars of the Celtic/Folk scene. She has wowed audiences with her unique fusion of both Celtic and Classical influences and much of her own song-writing is based on this as well as traditional Irish Folk song.

Widely acclaimed on the London folk music scene, she has been praised for modernising traditional music and bringing to it a sexy sophistication and in turn, inventing her own new style of Celtic Soul.

Performing a vibrant set with songs by some of the greats including Mary Black, Dolores Keane, Mary Hopkin and Alison Krauss, and inspired by her own Irish roots, this talented singer appeals to all ages.

She has performed at several illustrious venues such as the Troubadour Club in Earls Court; worked with Curved Air’s Darryl Way on a number of songs including her debut single which was recorded with legendary Country music producer Terry Bradford (Dominic Kirway, The Furys and Charlie Landsborough).

After graduating from the Royal College of Music in London, she decided to pursue her passion for folk and celtic music, largely as a consequence of discovering her biological Irish family in her early twenties.  She admits that it has sometimes been hard to put into words exactly what she feels and thinks of her experiences of being adopted as a baby and finally meeting her family, but agrees that it has been hugely rewarding to hear the results when performed with her band. Her songs are very much influenced by her journey, Irish heritage and love of music in general, and she likes nothing more than performing her own songs on stage.
