The Acoustic Ensemble adds a groovy twist to the traditional string quartet by adding percussion and bass to create a beautiful, organic sound, perfect as instrumental background music for a corporate drinks reception or as informal wedding reception music.

Elegant Music for Dinners
The Acoustic Ensemble is particularly effective as background music for dinner. The sets are played on acoustic instruments with gentle amplification that does not in any way intrude upon your guests' conversations. For a special ambience, the Acoustic Ensemble can perform totally unamplified for boutique venues and select guest list events, providing sophisticated live music for dinner, a drinks reception, or an elegant private party. The Acoustic Ensemble can be booked alone or preceded by the Chill Out Ensemble to provide different entertainment in both look and style from the drinks reception through to dinner, without booking an additional ensemble.

Background Music for Business Events
The Acoustic Ensemble can create the ideal environment for business events, providing relaxing background music for business lunches, networking events, conference or seminar receptions and team meetings.

Romantic Music for Weddings
For weddings the Acoustic Ensemble adds a romantic touch of live string ensemble for a wedding ceremony, and elegant entertainment for the drinks reception.

The Acoustic Ensemble comes in two sizes, the original 6 piece ensemble, or the 11 piece Acoustic Ensemble. The latter has a large ensemble look and sound, and features a double string quartet plus two percussionists and bass. Both formats offer over 3 hours of repertoire to choose from in this set, including classical music, pop standards, soul classics and even some reggae favourites. The repertoire is constantly being updating and recent additions include the beautifully anthemic "One Day Like This" by Elbow and the poignant "Blowers Daughter" by Damien Rice. The Acoustic Ensemble has recently been expanded to include a vocalist set.

The Chill-Out Ensemble music set is an unique blend of live strings with a professionally produced soundtrack, creating a lusciously rich soundscape of chillout music for a myriad of events. This set creates a relaxed vibe for informal drinks receptions, or as unobtrusive background music for business networking events. Equally, the chill-out set can gently build in tempo throughout the set if required, gradually encouraging conference delegates or wedding guests from their seats and onto the dance floor.

The chill out music has its roots in clubland chill out lounge music, taken to a new height by the use of a live string ensemble playing traditional classical instruments (or electric violins). The result is beautiful, sophisticated and contemporary.

The Chill-Out Ensemble is available in a configuration of 4, 8 or 12 players, depending on your budget and staging requirements. The chill-out set can also be performed by a trio or even solo violinist, providing music for very special occasions such as intimate gatherings and charity events. This unique "Buddha Bar" type background music entertainment can also be performed exclusively by female (or male) players, stylishly clothed in chill out white, appropriate for wedding drinks reception music, art gallery openings or black and white theme parties alike. The Chill-Out Ensemble can be booked alone or combined with the Acoustic Ensemble or DJ Ensemble.

THe specially arranged pieces played in the Chill Out Set include "Edge Hill" by Groove Armada (for which they originally arranged/performed the strings), their funky drum and bass version of the Oasis classic, "Wonderwall", Ennio Morricone's beautiful "Chi Mai" and the theme music from "The Matrix".

DJ Ensemble is a unique fusion of live percussion, strings, male or female vocalist, sax, and DJ. The DJ Ensemble entertains your guests with an upbeat performance of soulful house and Latin grooves, suitable as either contemporary and 'cool' background music, or as dance music. The DJ set is 'something different' for exclusive private functions, product launch events, corporate events, film wrap parties, media events and celebrity parties.

The DJ Ensemble is a top class international act. The set was specially created for a party hosted by Penelope Cruz in Cannes during the 2009 Film Festival. The DJ Ensemble has subsequently been performed to great acclaim at many events including the Basel Art Fair, a private Birthday Party hosted by Lord Norman Foster at his Chateau in Switzerland and at the launch of the Landrover Evoque at the London Boat Show.

The DJ Ensemble features top London DJs for an unforgettable party experience of live musicians and DJ. DJ's can also play in between our sets and/or until the end of the night.

The DJ Ensemble offers bespoke options to suit your event. The number of musicians featured can be altered to fit your requirements, and the set can also be performed with or without vocals. The DJ set leads on perfectly from a performance of the Chill Out Ensemble as part of an entire evening’s entertainment.
