Their extensive repertoire encompasses all the favourite classical works, in addition to jazz, swing and other popular classics. Ideal for ceremonies, weddings, social events or corporate functions. Depending on the occasion they can also perform as a flute & strings trio or quartet.
Formed of professional soloists, this Duo's performances are of the highest quality, adding prestige and sophistication to any occasion. The refreshing combination of flute and cello is highly desirable both to the eyes and the ears, and the duo's wealth of experience enables them the versatility to perform for all occasions, from grand formal events to more intimate gatherings. In addition to their appearances at private and corporate events, the duo has given prestigious recitals together in concert series' and festivals throughout the country. They have performed for numerous celebrity audiences, and have played to members of the royal family on several occasions.
The Flautist has performed both as a soloist and ensemble player in the UK, France, Bulgaria and Greece. She studied at the Paris Conservatoire, where she was awarded a Premier Prix at the U.C.E.M 92 flute competition, before gaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance and a Master in Music Degree. She appears regularly with various chamber ensembles and has performed in venues such as St Martin-in-the-Fields, London, St James’s Piccadilly, Burgh House, Blackheath Halls and the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
The Cellist studied at the Royal Academy of Music and graduated with first class honours in 2005. She regularly performs both as a soloist and chamber music player in the UK and abroad. She made her first concerto appearance at the age of seventeen performing the Elgar Cello Concerto, and has since appeared as a soloist with many orchestras in concerts throughout the UK and abroad. She has performed alongside eminent musicians in venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall and St. John's Smith Square, London.
